Hard Rock Hotel San Diego is in the Gaslamp Quarter, across the street from the San Diego Convention Center and a block from PETCO Park.

Launched by nightlife entrepreneurs Rande and Scott Gerber, the hotel’s Sweetwater Saloon and Moonstone Lounge offer signature cocktails and ultra-stylish, cutting-edge interiors. The rooftop Moonstone is poolside, open to the stars, while the Sweetwater features specially designed tables with individual beer taps. Both are great venues for seeing and being seen, while Nobu, the hotel restaurant, has a classic sushi bar and serves up bold nouveau Japanese cuisine.

Rock Spa, with separate men’s and women’s facilities, features treatments to decompress or recharge for the night ahead. Treatments include Champagne Cocktail Body Soak, 4-Diamond Body Detox, and Amped-Up Sugar Scrub. A state-of-the-art health club is adjacent.

Condo-Hotel Suites

Condo-Hotel suites at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego feature beds with 300-thread-count linens and bathrooms with multiple ceiling-mounted rainfall showerheads. Decor and furnishings are ultra-modern, creative, and stylish.

Integrated multimedia entertainment systems include 42-inch plasma TVs and plug-and-play technology allowing MP3 players, PDA devices, and laptop computers to connect. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access are available and minibars feature drinks of the month with liquor and ingredients.

Most of the suites are studio and one-bedroom units, however the property also features 18 distinct Rock Star Suites.  Owners are referred to as Rock Royalty, and are entitled to life behind the velvet ropes VIP treatment.

Dining

Nobu San Diego - Nouveau Japanese cuisine with Peruvian influences. Menu includes signature dishes such as Fresh Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno, and Broiled Black Cod with Miso. Dinner served each evening in the sushi bar or dining room; drinks are available in the lounge.

Maryjane's Coffee Shop - Casual, laid-back atmosphere. American and regional dishes. Indoor and outdoor dining. Open early morning to late evening; late-night hours on weekends.

Sweetwater Saloon - Decor features wood bar with black leather accents and white crocodile padded bar stools. Specially designed tables include individual beer taps, allowing beer aficionados to choose their own brand and self-serve. Bottle service available. Open late afternoon to late night.

Moonstone Lounge - Open rooftop pool bar with private poolside cabanas and outdoor leather lounge seating. Fire pits ringed by opium beds and sectional seating. Bottle service available. Open late afternoon to late night.

Room service - Available 24 hours.
